In 2005, Pastor Alba was asked by the government's Moral Recovery Program under the Philippine National Police to serve as the head of the Educational Committee that teaches police officers Biblical Values. Through this program, many police officers were saved, and some were baptized and became members of a Baptist Church in their city.

Calling

In 2018, when Pastor Alba and his wife, Nenita, visited their daughter and husband, missionaries to Thailand, Pastor Alba met a Korean tourist and won him to the Lord. When the Korean returned to Busan, South Korea, he attended the Bible Baptist Church in Yeon-gu District, as advised by Pastor Alba.

In 2019, Pastor Alba and his wife visited Busan, South Korea. That was the time when Pastor Alba saw the great need for laborers in the mission field of Haeundae District, which has a population of almost half a million but no Baptist Church to reach them.

The burden the Lord placed in his heart led Pastor Alba to surrender to the Lord as he preached in a world missions conference at Liberty Baptist Church, Panglao, Bohol, Philippines, in 2025. He shared the burden with his Church, asking them to pray and to send him and his wife to the mission field of Busan, South Korea; the Church agreed and is excited to send out their first missionaries to a foreign land as soon as all the documents needed for a missionary visa are completed.
